Residential energy efficiency investments

Private households can borrow up to US$ 75,000 for improving the energy efficiency of their buildings and apartments, pending the creditworthiness assessment of the TURSEFF partner bank. Also eligible for Residential Energy Efficiency Investments are groups of householdsorganised in housing collectives.

Examples of residential sector energy efficiency projects are:

• Double glazing
• Insulation of walls, roof, floors
• Efficient biomass stoves/boilers
• Solar water heaters
• Efficient gas boilers
• Heat pumps

Energy efficiency can greatly enhance living conditions in your home. An energy efficient home provides much higher comfort levels. At the same an energy efficient home is much easier and more economical to heat, cool, or control appliances to optimum effect.

In order to ensure your money is used for maximum impact, the loans will only be available for purchase of items that have been approved by the TURSEFF engineers.
